Camellias

After rainfall
rays of sunlight sneak
past the dull grey clouds
brightening this small garden
where camellias still bloom

More decorating again today, so not much to write about I'm afraid.  If I'm decorating I like to have an audio book on the go, which helps to pass the time.  With a St Petersburg visit on the way, I've been listening to Crime and Punishment by Dostoyevsky, which is the St Petersburg novel (apparently).  If you've read it you'll know about the horse dream sequence, which I found deeply disturbing.  I shall have to try to find something else to think about this evening to get it out of my head before bed time!
