Yet another pub window

I'm working tomorrow, so we took dad out for lunch today.  We opted for his most local pub - The Queen's Head.  Nice food but the service was a bit hit and miss.  It looks quite "olde worlde" from the outside, but has been opened up inside to a large open plan area - not so good an atmosphere, but feels spacious.

This pub doesn't work very well for us on a Sunday, because they have two sittings for a carvery - at midday and at 2pm - one too early, the other too late.  So W had never been there before, though I've been in a few times with Dad.
