Skiddaw in the Sun
Skiddaw never disappoints on the last morning at LPH: we were treated to a rather lovely light show which had most of us out and taking photos.
Before heading home, I headed into Keswick with fellow blipper/LPher Kernow for a bit retail therapy and a last look at Derwent Water. Keswick is a pretty little town and we were lucky with a) parking and b) the market in the centre of the town. The town was predictably busy and the car park was heaving by the time we got back. A final half hour was spent doing some long exposures by the lake, with beautiful light on Catbells and Castle Crag. I'll upload a few more photos in the next few days.
The journey home was surprisingly plain sailing, with clear roads and light traffic - I'd expected to crawl most of the way...
