We went to the flower festival at the Kilcalmonell parish church in the village of Clachan today (hence the decorated piano at the war memorial gate). The church dates back to 1695, and under the stone slabs as you go through to the vestry is the grave of a Jacobite soldier who made it home from Culloden. Apparently he's buried with two loaded pistols and a drawn sword. Kind of takes 'Do not Disturb' to a new level.
