Doom

Murray the Magician and his assistant, Fearchara, at the Hopetoun Arms this evening. And pretty good it was too. A mix of Derren Brown style mind reading, illusion and escapology. Genuinely skilful in parts and most of the tricks had me baffled. Good fun way to spend the evening.

Earlier there was a quick trip to Kwik Fit in Hamilton to see whether they could sort out the squeaking suspension on the car (they couldn't, but they diagnosed the location of the mouse and re-assured me it's fine for a while). A flying visit from Richard and Fred was an added bonus.
