Easter Baking

We are to supply the puddings* for lunch at B&S's tomorrow so I have made a Roman Cheesecake and a Simnel Cake (based on the White Christmas Cake recipe). There will also be a plenty of Gooseberry Fool, currently in the frig.

*We remember Rev. Valle referring to 'puddings' in a Children's address, as, he said, it is a much more comforting expression than 'desserts'.
