I skived off a couple of hours this morning and bought some new trousers and a new dress and a hat. This sort of thing is exiting and unusual for me. But necessary because for some reason, although I've not lost weight I've decreased a dress size.

The nut was at nursery rubbing grit into his eyes. He was filthy all over, covered in mud, including his hands and his face. And his poor eye was streaming :( luckily Gary the creepy and incompetent boiler guy came an fixed the water heater for the 15th time so I could give the nut a bath.

Creepy Gary brought an equally creepy but hopefully more competent boiler guy to help. I hope I don't see them again soon.
