High mark at Adelaide Oval

Today I enjoyed my first visit to the new Adelaide Oval, along with 46,500 other football fans of Aussie Rules.

It was a great day for my team, the Adelaide Crows, who enjoyed a massive victory by 77 points over the Victorian team the North Melbourne Kangaroos.

This kicked off the 2015 AFL seasion with a bang for the Adelaide team who are presently top of the table. But it is only the first match of the season. The final score was Crows 21 goals 14 behinds to North Melbourne 9 goals 9 behinds.

The photo shows North Melbourne in the blue and white enjoying a rare good moment with first hands on the high ball. This same oval was used recently in the Cricket World Cup in the semi-finals.
