High Tea

My friend G is leaving to go overseas, and her friends and flat mates wanted a special farewell. First M took her for a flight, while L did the final preparation for a High Tea.  The ornate menu on the table has the full menu starting with salmon roulades, savoury tarts, fresh scones with rose petal jelly and cream, various sandwiches,  savouries ,teacakes and a big cake both decorated with rose petals  ( dip in egg white and then caster sugar -  just beautiful). Plus of course the bubbly to start with and the fine tea in fine china to finish.  What a wonderful treat.
