Warming up

Our usual Sunday coffee on the square was a little different today.  L. had baked a simnel cake and someone else had baked some middle eastern confections and there were also commercially produced, local bunyettes.  I noticed that a few rocks are beginning to show through the snow on Canigou so the spring melt has started and in a few weeks' time the white cap will have been disappeared.
