Easter Violets

A brighter morning than yesterday so Mum, Steve and I managed another walk - this time along a nearby disused railway line.  I heard my first chiff-chaff of the year.  One thing I have noticed since being here are the carpets of violets - some deep purple, others  pure white.  They seem especially rich this year, and a cheerful way to celebrate Easter Sunday on my blip.
