Anticipation

It came to Chester today! The weather was perfect and the atmosphere relaxed, fun and everybody was so excited! We lined up at Eastgate street, but the picture of the Olympic torchbearer was blurred, in fact I actually missed it, it came and went so quickly. I quick glance between the police motorcycle and police runners and it was gone...
But anticipation is the best, so I chose the picture of the crowd just before the torch came, it sums up the feeling of me and all the spectators, it sent a thrill down my spine. Seeing some of the athletes later and getting a close up view of the wonderfully designed Olympic torch was very inspiring too, they seemed to enjoy all the attention.
