Polystyrene hive

Fantastic day today. Final trip to the dump and many outdoor chores completed.

Dug out the polystyrene give I bought last year and set it up, ready for the first split of the colony that survived the winter. No icing sugar, so I couldn't sprinkle the bees and make them from each other (an anti-varroa trick).

Today lamb in the oven. Gotta go!
