Colemere low

After my water level shot of The Mere last week I decided to scare myself again by doing the same on Colemere today.

Two nice walks today starting the day at Bettisfield Moss where a new route has been laid out and a new pond dug. I know I have talked about my love for these areas of wetland  before but again they were glorious today with dozens of Brimstone butterflies on the wing and the pond will be great in dragonfly season.

This was followed by a trundle round Colemere which is always very appealing. I think best of all is the fact that once more we didn't need to travel any more than 10 miles and pretty much saw no-one all day.
