Easter open day

My, we had a busy open day! The sun shone and people came (710, give or take a few). We were a bit run off our feet, but I don't think too many tempers got frayed. The star attractions were the lambs and chicks who got a lot of attention from kids of all ages. The chicks came from A Wing and a Prayer Rescue who re-home commercial laying hens. Earlier in the day, two of the hens got so excited about their trip to Redhall that they escaped - and it took quite some time and effort to re-rescue them!
