Rolling away the stone

I'm sure somebody at Sunday school once told me Easter eggs symbolise the rolling away of the stone of Jesus tomb and the resurrection etc , I'm not so sure golf clubs were ever involved in the rolling of Easter eggs more like blasted into a thousand pieces , good job ironically we have chickens to tidy up the mess!!
