Finished item number one!

This is so far out of my normal comfort zone, I don't tend to do sequins or sparkle, but somehow the design required somethng ng more glitzy than navy blue velvet! I've had a wonderful time at 'the hat in the cat' in Perth, and think I might well come next year too! Very happy, and tired, just waiting for the midnight train to London !
