Easter flowers

Our church was beautifully decorated this morning with bright Easter flowers. As well as the displays on the flower stands and Communion table, each window-sill contained a vase of daffodils and the place looked even more stunning than usual.

However, the flower team weren't for hanging around at the end of the service and quickly gathered up the arrangements for distribution to the people who would receive them as a token of our thoughts and prayers. I only managed to catch one arrangement on camera, but I was quite glad it was this one as it sat beside a cross gifted in memory of a baby that passed away a few years ago.

Summed up the Easter weekend perfectly for me.
