No Soggy Bottoms!

Move over Mary Berry! I made some Easter jam tarts to be proud of today, even if I do say so myself! I was pleased with the pastry result, no soggy bottoms in sight! A far cry from my last attempt which was dreadful.

A lovely Easter Sunday had by all. My mum and dad came over for a Sunday Roast late afternoon which was really nice, followed by as many jam tarts as you could manage.

We did a little Easter egg hunt in the house for the boys and then they decided to repay the favour and they hid some choccie eggs for us adults to find which was totally fun if not a little competitive by the end:)

A lovely day, but I am looking forward to climbing into bed very, very soon.
