Easter day

Today is Easter Day.

I've been with my flowers, card and matchmakers to the two wonderful ladies no longer physically in my life but forever in my heart. I've made my usual apologies for not being able to arrange flowers. they still looked ok from mothers day actually so I added a few new ones for colour but they looked nice.

I was disappointed the daffodil cross isn't out for easter, there aren't many flowers and I didn't see many buds either. I like to see the cross in full bloom but it wasn't to be today.

I've been to church and repented my sins so now back in credit to start again and I'm sure it won't be long before the first sin is cast. I enjoyed church this morning it was cold but at one point the sun was shining. I thought to myself the sun shines on the rightous. ha ha the sun was only shining on me because of the way it shone through the window, as I said it shines on the rightous!

This afternoon we took our teenage daughter for her first driving lesson, it was off road because she's not 17 but she did really well. her face was a picture when she exclaimed she had driven so fast at 25mph!

The highlight of my day was eating my egg. I gave chocolate up for lent and have not had any at all since shrove tuesday.
