Day 16: Los Angeles, CA

After a slightly later start than we'd hoped we got our car for the east coast hired and drove out to Venice Beach. After a nightmare trying to find a parking spot we had a nice wander along the beach and then headed off for a drive past all of the beautiful homes in Beverly Hills, down Hollywood Boulevard which just looked completely trashy and then up to Griffith Observatory to see the Hollywood Sign. Unfortunately we got there after sunset and didn't realise that they don't actually light the sign up, but the observatory was super interesting and free so we had a look around that instead.
