Old and new

You lovely lot may know all about Geocaches already. There are thousands, maybe millions, of secret stashes hidden all over the world which you can find using a Geocache app on your phone and then following coordinates, a compass and your senses. Well it was new news to us and typically we all got very overexcited about the whole thing.

We set off for Sussex determined to discover a cache and found five fiendishly tricky little treasure troves. The pleasure is in the discovery - there's nothing of value in the caches, no prizes or kudos, just the satisfaction of a shared quest completed.

Throw in a pub lunch, the Plumpton Races, an Easter Egg hunt and a sleepover at Granny and Grandpa's and we had all the ingredients of a perfect Easter Sunday. (Although a little more warmth and a blue sky would have been very nice too.)
