The Sea

After a tough week, we happily set off on a road trip to the south coast for some therapy from the sea. With two friends, we stopped off for a brief trip to ikea, then drove down to Eastbourne, Bexhill and Hastings. We saw a couple of brilliant exhibitions in the Towner and De La Warr Pavillion, and thoroughly enjoyed being blown along the grey and blustery beaches. We ended the day in Hastings; a town I'd visited before, but somehow missed the lovely old part of the town. We found a pub serving really good homemade food and enjoyed a couple of shandies before the journey home.
