Lavender

last years flower head to be precise.

Glorious weather here, so I have spent almost all day in the garden, weeding, largely.

I also helped some wild daffodils that had been trying to move into the back of my orchard. They'd had some issues getting over the hedgerow so who was I to not lend a helping hand? ;)

Things are looking good! Lots of Spring flowers, everything is budding, strawberries flowering...

Need to do a hell of a lot more weeding though... several years of illness have meant I haven't been able to do much so the Triffids have taken over. Need to stay on top of them before they grow too big and start flowering/seeding/spreading/taking over again!

More tomorrow, including the cutting off of those dead flower heads on the French lavender.
