A Bridge End - 1934

Ornamental bookends on a bridge I take daily. I need to check the date of this bridge when I get a chance. It traverses a dip in the landscape so no water is involved. Down way below is the major interstate that passes through Portland and Seattle. And the Willamette River gets into the act also. Which is why we have so many bridges.
The main reason I stopped was to capture Mt. Hood, way in the distance, but it was too cloudy.
