Roots

When I think of growing, I think of roots. No matter how high or elaborate someone or something gets, the roots are what allows the process to happen, and what grounds (pun intended!) the growth. Tree roots, family roots, cultural roots - you name it, it is hard to REALLY grow without having something at the base. 

I self-identify as Polish (even though I live outside of Poland), Catholic (even though I don't practice any religion), and a designer (even though I am studying educational psychology). All because of my roots. Go, figure...

PS. Today is Dziadek Wojtek's birthday. Sto lat!
