The Engineers at Lake Tarawera - Day 2

The dam held all night and the water was well over Ethan and Henry's knees.
They spent the morning reinforcing the sand walls whilst it was oozing out the bottom and then after lunch breached the structure with an almighty whoosh of the retained stream escaping into the lake. The largest dam the old timers have ever seen at the distal end of our stream : ))
