Cross Country

I remember school cross country races from when I was at school. Where we used to run across farm land in Nelson is now a motorway, industrial park and extensions to the airport.

Our students here in Murchison are fortunate to still have true 'country' to run across. Here are the leaders heading up a local hill near the start of the race. they are actually running across land owned by fellow blipper FarmerGirl. And, that is her son in the lead. Congratulations to C who held the lead for the entire race, gradually increasing it for a stand out win.
