MonoMonday-Earth

In Holland it's Easter Monday, another public holiday, which feels like a Sunday.
The Mono Monday is hosted by Notowennewitt this month (thank you very much)  and today's theme is Earth. Took it literally,  hence an image of our planet. This globe is actually a children's toy, a cloth with a soft inside, which can be used as as a pillow to sit on for children, it will pop back up into shape as a globe when they stand up from it. It was one of the favourite possessions of MIL when she was in the earlier stages of Alzheimer's, it rested on top of her dresser as a visual help for her to imagine where we and the grandchildren were while we lived far away from her. Turned it into a cyano mono, as I thought that was a better fit than B&W.

Kind of appropriately I was busy today as a travel agent, organising a very short trip to Paris for son no 2 and me, as he has to gather moving images of crowds for his thesis. Made a terrible mistake at first (always, always double-check the details, especially the dates, before pressing Book now !) but had a lovely lady change it into the right date without extra costs after all ! Phew!
