Every road leads home

I love the freedom of cycling to and from work, it's fantastic to forget all about the days happenings on a cycle ride (uphill) home.

My bike is Canadian, the brakes are the 'wrong' way round to home. I didn't even realise I knew which side usually corresponds to the front and back brake at home. But when your hurtling down a hill with a roundabout at the bottom of the road and a car decides to over take and pull directly in front of you, braking because look ahead- there's a roundabout! You don't want to go putting on your front brake first. The result, especially adding a bit of rain into the mix, was my most spectacular skid ever. It made my knees wobble the rest of the way.
