Dover castle - back blip (Saturday)

Another day and another historic venue.  Took ourselves off to Dover castle today.  It was a dull and dismal day, it was an incredible view from the keep at the top but it was so dull the photos didn't give the view justice.  So decided to use this one instead of the dining hall.
The castle is incredibly well preserved and is amazing to look round and find out more regarding the history.  The grounds are huge and this is well worth a visit.

Spent the rest of the day visiting some family in Margate that I haven't seen for a long time and it was good to catch up.  Then bimbled back home late afternoon.  A good few days away.
