Ramsons

I found my first ramsons in flower for this year during a lovely walk through Eggerslack Wood up above Grange-over-sands. Sadly, the fog over the Kent Estuary never dispersed, so on leaving the woods and walking up to the open high ground of Hampsfield Fell there were no magnificent views to be had. The wonderful Hazlemere Cafe back down in Grange made up for any disappointment.
