Sausages!

What a beautiful day it was today.  We even dragged the sun loungers out and experienced that wonderful feeling of the sun on our faces for a few minutes.  

I also dragged Mr T and his mother off to the VW garage because I have a fantasy of buying one of those VW Californian camper vans (which are not much bigger than a car) - Point one of my selling pitch. Point 2 is that I could get one for not much more a month than I am paying at the moment for my golf.  Point 3 is that we could save money by taking off with the dogs - so no more caring or accommodation costs.

The downside, of course, is that I am sure parking in towns will be a nightmare particularly when reverse parking is still a challenge for me.  But I have the bit between my teeth.

Point 4, of course, is the emotional one that goes something like "who knows how much longer we will be fit enough to do this,"  blah blah.  Not sure I have succeeded yet but I remember the saying "slowly, slowly catchee monkey."
