Tyndale Monument

..above North Nibley. Today we walked 12.4 miles (according to the app on my new phone)!! We walked from Birdlip to North Nibley. It was a beautiful day and made the walk more pleasant even if it was still tiring! We are in a lovely B and B so that is brilliant. 
The monument which can just be seen on top of the distant hill is to William Tyndale who was the first person to translate the New Testament into English. He was considered a heretic and burnt at the stake. Unbelievable.
