Road bridge and clapper bridge at Dartmeet, Devon
The incomplete clapper bridge in the foreground may be neolithic, it may equally be medieval. Noone can tell. (I had photographed the complete clapper bridge at nearby Postbridge yesterday, but it was trumped by the Finch Foundry for a place in Blipfoto.)
The road bridge in the background was constructed in 1792.
Short of wading into the river Dart - a perilous undertaking at the best of times - there is little means of taking a photo which does equal justice to both bridges. This is the best angle that I could manage.
