On Hartsop above How ...

... looking towards Hart Crag and Dove Crag

Went for a long walk today. Set out from Brotherswater to walk the fells surrounding it, managed Hartsop above How, Hart Crag, Dove Crag, Little Hart Crag and High Hartsop Dodd, taking my Wainwright total up a further 5 to 58!

The internet showed the walk as 6.5 miles, measuring it on the map later, it was over 8.5 miles, with around 3000 feet of steep ascent. Mind you - it really felt spring-like, I ended up walking in a t-shirt, with all the layers stuffed in my rucksack, though when the sun went down, the underlying temperature was still pretty chilly!

Knackered Tired out after, so I treated myself to Scampi and chips at the chippy afterwards.
