I ate lunch in the gardens today. 

When I went back into the office I stopped and chatted with Greg. I told him I'd eaten my lunch in the garden. 

There's a garden? says he. 

Well, there is a green patch with benches. 

There's benches? 

Yes, it overlooks the Water of Leith, you can see the heron. 

There's a heron? 

It is possible that tomorrow Greg will leave the office at lunch time.
