seeing red....

... And boy have i seen it today!

My compact has packed up, issue with the battery or charger... (tho i'm unsure which!) so as i was having trouble finding the receipt, (so that i could take it back to the shop and see if there was anything they could do), i thought i'd try my old bank statements... While looking through some old ones, i noticed a payment for just under £80 to a webhoasting company i took out a free trial with months ago. I'm not going to name them, they don't deserve a mention!!!!

What had happened was i hadn't canceled my account with them, after the trial period, so without any notice it automaticly ticked over into the full account. There was no email reminding me, nothing! They took money out of my account - again, i didn't receive any notification of it, no bill, no invoice, Nothing! Apart from today when i stumbled across it deep into their stite when looking for something else.

I have complained, but all i get back is a chirpy message saying "thank you for you query, if you wish to cancel your account, please confirm via a reply. We are unable to refund any unused hoasting as in our terms of service. We wish you every success with your future site building..." (or words to that effect)

I am just sooooo cross with them, and think the way it all works is a joke!

And i'm sooooo cross with myself for not noticing it any sooner... maybe then i'd have had a leg to stand on!

Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!!!!!
