Goodwood

Ben and Sarah took us to Goodwood Motor Circuit this afternoon for a bit of an outing and a change. I've still got some rather distressing and painful so-called side effects and it was great to take my mind off them and get out in the sunshine. The Goodwood daffodils are incredible and the setting of the South Downs very beautiful.

This is an Austin Healey taking part in a Sprint Event where each car does a single timed lap of the circuit. You can just make out the skid marks from the previous Caterham which came out of the bend too fast and skidded across to hit the tyres. As far as we could tell no one was hurt except the plucky little car which was broken doing what it loves to do.
