Great Grandma

We went to visit my Grandma today who is recovering from her recent spell in hospital. We talked of how soon after they met, Stan asked her to marry him and the fact her dad was initially unwilling to see his little girl engaged. Whatever else, this story always brings a smile.
At the other end of things, The Teen's boyfriend came for tea for the first time. We were honoured with the pronouncement that we "hadn't been too embarrassing!" Success - I think!
