Springtime parakeet

Had a really lovely, sunny, springtime walk down to Greenwich this morning.  We saw so many interesting sights (especially along a newly re-opened section of the Thames path), it was hard to pick a single photo to represent the day - but this parakeet we spotted on the way home stole the show.  It looked as though it was munching all the blossom on this tree in Greenwich Park, although maybe it was just ferreting about for insects.  Either way, it made for a nice picture :)

Came home for some lunch, then did a couple of loads of washing and changed the bed while Tim cleaned the carpet in our hallway (after a slight fox poo mishap yesterday).  Also phoned my Mum for a while, then embarked upon editing the many photos I took today.
