Bullrush

Not in my office today, but, despite appearances, out at a client office all day, not at home. I do do go for a walk around the business park, one of the largest in the UK. There is a man-made loch, Loch Ross, which breaks up the monotony, and the newer Lochside office developments from the older, more established South Gyle.

In some parts of the loch, reeds grow. I thought this bullrush particularly striking. Behind me you can hear the quiet whir of the Edinburgh Tram network, in front of me the quiet roar of the Edinburgh bypass.

A positive note is that today, Wednesday, is my Friday. Long weekend beckons.
