Woodland adventure

This morning we took Cleo off for a walk though the woods, collecting snail shells, twigs, leaves and keeping a look out for goblins, as you do. We had such a lovely time even though Cleo managed to get stung by some nettles but she then learnt about the healing powers of dock leaves. All was well again until Auntie Naomi slipped in some mud. Ooops. Messy but a nice, soft landing, so no harm done.

We drove home this evening but will return later this week to have a bit more time together before she heads back to NYC.
