All systems go...

Dry,sunny and warm. What more could you want. Got the contractor to send a man up to seed oats. The tractor has been lying here for the last 10 days,never turned a wheel.He finished the oats by 3pm then had to re calibrate the drill for the barley.There is a 4m drill working down the road doing the other fields.
Took the chance to get fert on the first sown oats,but still a bit sticky to roll it. Might delegate the job as there are lots of stones to pick !
Other jobs included one on mucking out and bedding,and the other hauling seed and fert down the road.
It's amazing how a wee bit dry weather and getting on with the work can make you cheer up a bit!
