Schönbrunn Palace Easter Market

Vienna day 3.

My last day in Vienna was made up of wandering the grounds of Schönbrunn and Belvedere palaces; literally running around the fantastic Natural History Museum to have a look at as much as I could; one more coffee and cake (at the official 3 pm time slot) at Cafe Diglas (the queue in Cafe Demel was too long - next time!) and then back to the airport.

This trip is definitely up there as a highlight on this year abroad. Music, coffee and cake are three of my favourite things!

As I wandered around Vienna I listened to a playlist of my favourite Easter hymns to celebrate Christ's resurrection. Most of the church services were ticketed so instead I enjoyed worshipping and walking the beautiful streets and gardens of, what is probably now, one of my favourite places in the world.
