East at Easter

Evening all,

Well, reached the end of the bank holiday with a lovely warm day, which was enough of a reason for us all to nip out for a bit of a ramble on some of the lesser explored (by us) footpaths.

Armed with a small but surprisingly heavy backpack full of mid stride nibbles and ridiculously overdressed for once, in view of the weather we reminded ourselves of why we live where we do, observed a new born lamb take its first stumbling steps into the world,

and finally reached home two hours later....

Hot,bothered,weary,sore of foot and happy in heart,

we were content.
