the green ribbon

an NGO setup a stall today at office, inviting volunteers and donations for helping the less privileged kids and elderly. I chose to sponsor a package for a kid - school supplies, books and uniform - nothing like education for a kid. As a token of gratitude and respect, they tagged the donors with these ribbons. Had I known that they would be giving these green ribbons, I would have worn a different shirt today. This green somehow doesnt look all that great on my grey t-shirt. But again, it is for a noble cause.
