Day 1 Iceland

A fantastic first day in Iceland.
1. Lazy morning.
2. Exploring the icebergs at the end of the road, sinking mud = muddy boots.
3.looking at the sculptures in Borgarnes , blown about in the wind. Eider ducks and black headed gulls swimming on the sea.
4. Hot chocolate and Icelandic berry juice in the settlement Centre cafe.
5. Hot pizza and tea in the bakery , the film Walter Mitty was filmed here, Papa Johns.
6. Supermarket shopping, food  for four days.
7. Church on a hill with views over Borgarnes, another sculpture.
8. Round a garden in Borgarnes , Banksy type graffiti, painted red stones with smiley faces.
9. Cup of tea and tasty cake with pink icing and pistachio 
10.Settlement Centre , very interesting, Icelandic sagas 
11. Grilled lamb and roasted vegetables
12.Back to the accommodation, hot tub :))))))
