HANG ON WAIT FOR ME......

.... after a day of sun then storm on and off all day, did actually have a Blip early - this Wattlebird in our Camellia enjoying the fresh pollen.

Then on the way back from down town stopped off at my favourite spot the mighty Nepean River. It was really nice in the late afternoon sun, and there were a few birds flitting around and generally enjoying themselves.

Anyway, spotted these two sitting on the dead tree branch and as I aimed to see what they were, got this as they took off. Seems like the top one is in catch up mode!

Then the next shot showed it was getting closer, but the first one off was employing "dive bomber" pose to avoid drag as it rocketed off down the river.
