Baby Bluetit
This is not actually a picture of my hand or my bird but I just had to tell about the baby bluetit in the garden. So the picture is for illustration only. I was wandering around the garden looking at what was coming out etc when I turned my attention to an Azalea and about two feet from my nose was a very young only just fledged baby bluetit, watching me and sunning itself on the top of the Azalea. I spoke to it and it was completely unperturbed that I was so close. I gradually moved my hand out to it and it hopped onto my finger and stayed there. I wanted a photograph. I called Mark, shouted the dog to go and get Mark. She just looked at me. So we went for a wander around the garden and sat in a sun chair. Altogether he was with me for about forty five minutes. Then I put him back on the Azalia and he did a few trial flights then up to the sunlight on top of a higher bush. It made my day but where was the camera?
